Nigeria’s Presidency has approved a major change in the Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development.

This was made known in a statement by the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Mallam Garba Shehu, on Thursday.

The change involved the swapping of positions by two heads of agencies under the Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development.

Shehu said the decision was in order to realise and sustain the government’s abiding desire for effective and efficient service delivery in the two organisations.
