A second half brace from Luis Suarez saw Barcelona come from a goal down to beat Inter Milan 2-1 at the Nou Camp in Wednesday’s Group F Champions League game.
Inter got off to the best start as they took the lead through Lautaro Martinez in the 3rd minute.
Suarez equalised for Barcelona on 58 minutes before scoring the winner with six minutes remaining.
It was Barcelona’s first group stage win after they were held to a 0-0 draw away to Borussia Dortmund on matchday one.
Champions League holders, Liverpool, had to dig deep to beat visiting Salzburg 4-3 in Group E.
Sadio Mane (9th minute), Andrew Robertson (25th minute) and Mohamed Salah (36th minute) all scored to put Liverpool 3-0 ahead.
But Salzburg fought back from 3-0 down to bring the tie to 3-3 thanks to goals from Hee-Chan Hwang (39th minute), Takumi Minamino (56th minute) and Erling Braut (60th minute).
But in the 69th minute, Salah scored his second which was the winner for Liverpool, to give them their first win of the competition.
And in Group H, Super Eagles striker, Victor Osimhen, was on target for Lille who lost 2-1 at home to Chelsea.
It was Lille’s second defeat in the group after they kicked off with a loss away to Ajax.
While Chelsea bounce back from their defeat to Valencia in their first group game at Stamford Bridge.
Osimhen scored in the 33rd minute to cancel out Tammy Abraham’s opener on 22 minutes.
And with 12 minutes remaining in the game, Willian scored what proved to be the winner for Chelsea.
In other games played also on Wednesday, Ajax defeat Valencia 3-0, Leipzig lost 2-0 at home to Lyon, Benfica lost 3-1 away to Zenit and Dortmund beat Slavia Prague 2-0.
