The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), on Thursday commenced the distribution of sensitive electoral material for the Edo governorship election.
Distribution of electoral materials was done amid heavy security presence at the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) in Benin, the state capital.
The exercise was supervised by Timidi Wariowei, head of voter education and publicity (INEC), Edo, alongside party representatives.
The Edo governorship election is scheduled for Saturday September 19.
