Former Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency, NIMASA DG has been rearrested.
The trial of former Director General of Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA), Mr. Patrick Akpobolokemi was delayed at the Federal High Court, Lagos today due to request for adjournments by defence counsel.
The court adjourned the commencement of trial of the former NIMASA boss till January 18, 2016.
The former DG who had earlier been granted bail was re-arrested by the operatives of the EFCC just as he stepped outside the court.
Some newsmen who witnessed the proceedings reports that his lawyers and relatives who were in court could only stand in shock at the turn of events.
They later condemned the incident and vowed to challenge it in court.
