President Muhammadu Buhari’s one-day trip to flag off Ogoniland cleanup in Rivers state, has been canceled. 
The president is said to have appointed someone who is going to represent him.
Reports have it that the cancelation is not unconnected to security threats to the President from the rampaging Niger Delta Avengers who had threatened to kill the President should he step foot in the Niger Delta region.
President Buhari made a similar cancellation of his visit to Lagos two weeks ago, blaming it on an ear infection.
