President Muhammadu Buhari and former President Olusegun Obasanjo are pictured exchanging pleasantries and sharing a hearty laugh at the 30th Ordinary Session of the Assembly of Heads of State and Government of the African Union in Ethiopia.
The meeting comes few days after Obasanjo released a statement, urging President Buhari not to seek re-election. Obasanjo also scored Buhari poorly in his handling of the country’s economy, incessant clashes between farmers and cattle herders, among other things.
Former head of State, General Abdulsalami Abubakar, shared in the banter, according to the images posted on President Buhari’s Twitter handle, @MBuhari.
