Accusations against former secretary to the Nigerian government, Senator Anyim Pius Anyim, that he hijacked the Centenary City project in Abuja will be laid to rest tomorrow.

Former military head of state, General  Abubakar Abdulsalami , who chairs the board of directors of the new city project will brief President Muhammadu Buhari on the project.

And we can confirm that Abdulsalami will open all the projects books and tell Buhari that no government money has been spent on it.

“No kobo of Federal Government went into the building of Centenary City,’’ confirmed,  Alhaji Mohammed Bukar, permanent secretary in the office of the SGF.

At the briefing, President Buhari  warned civil servants to shun corrupt practices or be ready to leave the civil service.

Bukar said Buhari underscored the importance of strict adherence to the rules and laws guiding public service.

“We have received a mandate to work harder. He has given us a very strong warning that change has come and every public servant has to sit up. We will give our best to support the government.
