Some protesters who are said to be under the aegies of the Edo Civil Society Organisation (EDOCSO), stormed the Edo State Specialist Hospital, to reject the purported action of the government.
Reports say that they on Friday last week, staged a similar protest and they threatened to empty the facility of both the patients and staffs, if there be any today on their arrival.
The protest which was held at the facility located in Sapele Road, in Benin City the Edo State capital, had the attendance of dozens of protesters.
Meanwhile, the Edo State Government has denied the claims of privatising the facility by the protesters.
