Peter Ayodele Fayose, the former Governor of Ekiti State, has lamented over the outcome of the election of Kogi and Bayelsa States.

The elections held in both states were marred with violence and ballot box snatching.

INEC has raised alarm that 30 of its ad-hoc staff who participated in Saturday’s election in Olamaboro Local Government Area in Kogi State were no where to be found (missing).

This was made known by the electoral body, via the Government Area Electoral Officer in charge of collating and announcing of results, Garba Mahmood.

In his reaction,  Fayose stated that the outcome of the election was a sad and dark one for Nigeria and Democracy.

On twitter he wrote “Today is another sad and dark moment for our country and democracy going by the outcome of Kogi and Bayelsa election brazenly rigged in connivance with INEC and security agencies.

“The graveyard silence of Nigerians should however not be mistaken for consent of these shenanigan, be warned!”
