AFP has reported fresh multiple bomb blasts in Maiduguri, the capital city of the Nigerian North East state of Borno.
There was also a report of the deployment of soldiers to Aloa Dam near the city to battle insurgents.
Blasts were reported in the Kayamla Dalori neighborhoods and along the road from Bama.
The casualties could not be ascertained at the time of filing this report.
It would be recalled that on Friday, Boko Haram also bombed Nyanya and Kuje, the suburbs of Abuja, the Nigerian capital. Leadint to the death of about 18 people, including the bombers.
