(BY AYO OLOWO) The special one, Jose Mourinho has definitely had what he has described as the worst period in his career, this season. Jose and Chelsea’s poor run of form continued in the game against Southampton.
Chelsea took an early lead through an exquisite Willian free kick at Stamford Bridge but their defensive fragility cost them dearly as Southampton produced a stunning comeback with goals from Steven Davis, Sadio Mane and Graziano Pelle.
The result leaves Chelsea 16th place on the league table, 10 points adrift of Manchester City.
Mourinho has not responded humbly to the recent poor run. He has stated in his post match talk, that he will not run away from his responsibility, he will rather stay and get sacked if the club feel he should be sacked.
The big question therefore: should Mourinho be sacked for his inability to see through the team and know the true offenders?
