Throughout the summer, Manchester City have not hidden their admiration for Wolfsburg’s Kevin De Bruyne. The former Chelsea man has been subject of many speculations with Manuel Pellegrini’s side at the forefront. But it appears that Manuel Pellegrini’s side are about to get serious about landing the 24-year-old Belgian star.
The Mirror reports that City are prepared to break the £59.7 million British transfer record that rivals United paid for Angel Di Maria with a huge £60 million bid for Wolfsburg’s talisman. Having already spent £49 million on Raheem Sterling this summer, another £60 million on former Chelsea misfit De Bruyne would be a huge statement of intent for next season.
