Ace Liverpool and Egypt winger, Mohamed Salah has won the Professional Football Association, PFA, Premier League Player of the Month for February in England. The PFA announced Salah winner on Monday.
The pacy winger beat fellow teammate, Roberto Firmino to the award after securing 37 per cent of the votes, as against Firmino’s 19 per cent.
Other players shortlisted for the February award were Stoke City’s Jack Butland, Manchester United’s Chris Smalling, Pascal Gross of Brighton and Hove Albion and Chelsea’s Eden Hazard.
It is the third time this season Salah has collected the accolade. He scored four times for the Reds in three Premier League appearances last month.
As a winger, Salah is currently a joint-top scorer in the Premiership with Tottenham Hotspur’s Harry Kane on 24 goals.
The former Chelsea and Roma star was voted 2017 African Player of the Year two months ago.
