Not often do you see the President of Nigeria, the Senate President and the richest African attend a wedding with not less than 22 governors. The wedding of Idris Ajimobi and Fatima Ganduje is one of the rare weddings that bring men of this calibre together.
The couple are children of the governors of Kano and Oyo states.
President Muhammadu Buhari attended the wedding alongside Senate President Bukola Saraki; Bola Tinubu, national leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Aliko Dangote, billionaire businessman and other dignitaries.
The wedding was conducted by the Emir of Kano, Alhaji Muhammadu Sanusi II. He was supported by the Chief Imam of Kano, Prof. Sani Zaharaddeen

Also in attendence were the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Mr Boss Mustapha, Chief of Staff to the President, Abba Kyari and Senior Special Assistant to President on Media and Publicity, Malam Garba Shehu.
