Nigeria’s President Muhammadu Buhari received Aishatu Binani, governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Adamawa state, at the Aso Rock villa in Abuja on Friday.
Also present in the meeting were Abdullahi Adamu, national chairman of the ruling party, and Pauline Tallen, minister of women affairs.
In November, the appeal court in Adamawa restored Binani as the governorship candidate of the state – after a trial court had sacked her in October.
