Barcelona midfielder, Denis Suarez, has reportedly had a verbal agreement with Arsenal manager, Unai Emery, over a transfer to the Emirates Stadium this January.
The Spain international has struggled first-team football at the Camp Nou, but could fill a role in Emery’s side, who could create space for the player a in the midfield.
Suarez is an option on either the central midfield, or on the wing. He has also been tipped as an ideal replacement for Aaron Ramsey, who is expected to leave the club at the end of the current campaign.
The 25-year-old said yes to a move to north London after talks with Emery, who managed him at Sevilla, according to The Sport, a publication in Barcelona.
The Catalan publication further explained that it is left to the two clubs to agree a fee, with talks set to continue in the coming days.
Emery has also said the club could be looking to sign a defender during this window, though nothing has been revealed yet in that regard.
