The fall of the naira against the dollar continued on Monday, as the naira remained stable at a low, exchanging for N310 to the dollar at the parallel market. 
The naira previously exchanged between N305 and N307 to the dollar early last week.
Despite the exchange rate at the parallel market, the naira closed at N197 to the dollar at the official apex bank rate. Traders at the market were hopeful that the naira would appreciate as soon as the Central Bank of Nigeria resumed sale of forex to the commercial banks.
