English Premier League side, Liverpool have been handed a tough draw in this season’s UEFA Champions League.
The Jurgen Klopp-led side will battle Paris Saint-Germain, SS Napoli and Serbian side Red Star Belgrade in Group C.
Their rivals, Tottenham Hotspur, have also been placed in a tough group. The North London side will face Spanish giants Barcelona, Italian side Inter Milan and PSV Eindhoven.
In other draws, Manchester United have been placed in the same group as Juventus, Valencia and Young Boys of Switzerland.
Holders, Real Madrid are in Group G and will have to overcome AS Roma, CSKA Moscow and Viktoria Plzen. Europa League winners, Atletico Madrid are in Group A with Borussia Dortmund, AS Monaco and Club Brugge, Premier League champions Manchester City will face Shakhtar Donetsk, Lyon and Hoffenheim.

Meanwhile, in the award for UEFA Best Player for Men, Luka Modric beat off competition from former Madrid teammate Cristiano Ronaldo and Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah to the award.
Real Madrid’s trio of Keylor Navas, Sergio Ramos and Luka Modric were won the goalkeeper, defender and midfielder awards respectively while the best forward went to Ronaldo, who left Madrid for Juventus at the end of the season.
Pernille Harder of German women side Wolfsburg and Denmark got the award in the women’s category.
Former Manchester United, Real Madrid and England star, David Beckham, was honoured with the UEFA President’s award which recognises outstanding achievements, professional excellence and exemplary personal qualities.
