Chief Eze Chukwuemeka Eze a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) having read through a press statement credited to Senator Magnus Abe formerly the Senator representing the Eastern Senatorial District of Rivers State and issued on 4th August, 2029 by PARRY SAROH BENSON his Spokesperson titled, “CHANGE IN NIGERIA’S DEMOCRACY, WORK IN PROGRESS – SAYS ABE” in which he tried but erroneously presented himself as defending the tenets and principles of democracy in Nigeria and in his characteristic outburst tried to malign, denigrate and disparage the person and personality of Rt. Hon. Dr Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi erstwhile Governor of Rivers State and immediate past Minister of Transportation the man who brought him ( Abe) to limelight in the politics of Nigeria and whom he has dedicated himself to destroy politically.
Eze highlighted that the malicious interview, Abe stated that, ” Rotimi Amaechi hired a propagandist Eze Chukwuemeka Eze to falsely malign and de-market him (Abe) in order to justify the unjustifiable injustice that was perpetrated on Rivers People during the last political dispensation”.
Chief Eze Chukwuemeka Eze one time National Publicity Secretary of the defunct New Peoples Democratic Party (nPDP) the platform through which Senator Abe and his misguided cohorts used to join the All Progressives Congress (APC) reacted by stating that Senator Abe lacks the locus standi to speak or counsel Nigerians on the politics and tenets of democracy after he singlehandedly destroyed APC in Rivers State and ensured that the party didn’t field any candidate during the 2019 general elections. A feat he achieved by collaborating with Governor Nyesom Wike, a PDP Governor of Rivers State by forming a Parallel Leadership of the party against the constitution and directive of the National Working Committee of APC.
Senator Abe apart from disregarding the directive of the party went further to disparage the constitution of APC by suing the party instead of exploring the internal mechanism of the party in resolving political differences.
For Abe to have adopted a gunpoint strategy of stating that if the gubernatorial ticket of APC is not given to him the party will not field any other candidate put him as an element and tool of anti democracy and one that lacks powers or locus standi to speak on any Democratic issue so far Nigeria is concerned, Eze echoed.
For Abe to continue to describe me as a hired Propagandist by Amaechi is not only very unfair and unfortunate to my person and personality. It is sad that Abe instead of addressing most of the issues that I have presented to expose him for his wicked antics against APC and the man who made him politically prefers to run to the Media for cover forgotten that the Media Houses are fully aware of his unprincipled and devious plots against APC and those who have sacrificed their lives to put him in where he is today politically.
Eze counselled Abe to stop running to media Houses for protection but summon courage to apologize to the Rivets State people for denying them a credible platform that would have ushered in good governance in Rivets State instead of the direction-less government of Governor Wike that he assisted to install.
Eze who sympathies with Abe over his political woes advised him to retrace his steps and go back to his mentor, Amaechi who have indicated willingness to forgive him for his political blunder and to give him respite and those that he has led to political wilderness.
Eze who reacted to this while on the road described his mission in Rivers State as divine to give hope and restoration to those aimed for humiliation by Abe and his likes.
