Omoyele Sowore, convener of the RevolutionNow protest, has met the bail conditions and has been released to go home.
His legal practitioner, Mr Femi Falana, was spotted at the DSS headquarters Today.
Falana who at about 4pm spoke with a correspondent of THE PUNCH via a telephone conversation said “I am currently in their headquarters having complied with the condition given by the court”.
An affidavit of compliance with order by the court was deposed to by a lawyer in Falana’s firm, Mr Marshal Abubakar, has been submitted to the Federal High Court in Abuja, as a confirmation of submission of Sowore’s to the Deputy Registrar of the court.
Sowore on Tuesday was granted bail by the Federal High Court sitting in Abuja, as there was no subsisting order that still held Sowore in detention.
