“In compliance with section 5 (4) of the Nigerian Deposit Insurance Act 2006, it is my pleasure to forward to distinguished senate the under listed nominees for confirmation as chairman and members of Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation. Their CVs are attached”, part of the letter read.

However, senate president Bukola Saraki read another executive communication from Buhari on request for confirmation of Appointment for Resident Electoral Commission Nominee Candidate; Attahiru Garba.

“ It will be recalled that the Senate had earlier rejected the initial nominee the grounds that it hails from the same Local Government Area and Senatorial district with a serving National Commissioner. While thanking the distinguished Senate immensely and anticipation of the early consideration and confirmations of the appointment please accept the assurances of my highest consideration.”

Recall that Buhari recently appointed Kayamo his 2019 campaign spokesman.
