The ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) has zoned its chairmanship slot to the North-Central and position of National Secretary to the South-West ahead of the March 26 National Convention.
The APC disclosed this in its list of zoning arrangement released on Wednesday.
The party in a statement issued by its Director of Publicity, Saliu Na’in a Dambatta, said the zoning arrangement was adopted at the March 8, 2022 regular meeting of party’s Caretaker/Extra-ordinary Convention Planning Committee (CECPC).
According to the list, the APC zoned the national chairman to the North-Central while the South-West will produce the National Secretary. The office of the Deputy national chairman goes to South-East zone.
Zonal representatives on the CECPC will coordinate the process in each zone, Dambatta added.
The zoning arrangement for the party is as follows
